Christopher Bijan Whelton, Esquire is a trial attorney with the Berman Law Group. A lifelong South Florida native, Mr. Whelton obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2012. Dually licensed in Florida and Maryland, Mr. Whelton specializes in personal injury litigation with concentrations in the fields of vehicular negligence, wrongful death, premises liability, defamation, and condominium association litigation. Prior to joining the Berman team, Mr. Whelton spent several years with Florida’s largest insurance defense firm working on behalf of several of the nation’s most established insurance carriers. He now applies his knowledge of the industry’s inner workings towards obtaining compensation for aggrieved parties seeking a voice.

Mr. Whelton earned his bachelor’s degree from Davidson College where he majored in English, political science and creative writing. He is an active member of the Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Section and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. His articles on digital estate planning and NCAA administration have been featured in the law review journals at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Connecticut respectively. Outside of work, Mr. Whelton is an avid guitarist, fitness enthusiast, and occasional session musician.
