Daniel P. Melrose represents victims of serious and catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases; condominium boards, businesses and homeowners with substantial insurance property claims; and disputes between parties arising out of various business relationships

 

Mr. Melrose is admitted to the Florida Bar and the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida and has extensive experience dealing with million-dollar personal injury cases, as well as multi-million dollar commercial and condominium building property damage claims arising from Hurricanes, Fires, and Third-Party Negligence.

Education

Mr. Melrose attended the University of Southern Maine, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He later attended Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center in South Florida, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree.

Community Involvement

During law school, Mr. Melrose dedicated over 400 pro bono hours to the Broward County Community, which included assisting veterans with their legal issues at  Mission United Veterans Pro Bono Project; assisting in the prosecution of defendants for felony domestic violence cases at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office, and assisting the Florida Attorney General’s Office with protecting Florida consumers from economic crimes under the Florida Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
