Rocco Scarfone was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. Prior to law school, Mr. Scarfone attended East Carolina University on a football scholarship and started at cornerback for the Pirates. In 2015, Mr. Scarfone earned his bachelor’s degree from East Carolina and graduated magna cum laude. Mr. Scarfone would then go on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina, School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Scarfone interned for Justice Berger of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Mr. Scarfone also spent a summer as an associate at a prominent civil defense firm in Jacksonville, Florida.
Prior to joining Berman Law Group, Mr. Scarfone was an Assistant State Attorney for the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office. During his time as a prosecutor, Mr. Scarfone handled a wide variety of cases and tried numerous jury trials to verdict.
Outside of the courtroom, Mr. Scarfone is a NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor. In September 2020, Mr. Scarfone helped negotiate Keenan Allen’s 4 year/$80M extension – which at the time made Allen the 2nd highest paid wide receiver in the National Football League.
