Jared Blake Namm

Originally from Forest Hills, NY, Jared Blake Namm moved to Boca Raton, FL and graduated from Spanish River High in 1996.

Mr. Namm attended and graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University with Bachelor of Science and a double major in Marketing and Management. He then graduated cum laude from the University Of Miami School Of Law with a Juris Doctor in May 2003.

Mr. Namm was an Associate Editor for the Inter-American Law Review from 2001-2002 and in 2002-2003 was elected as Symposium Editor. As Symposium Editor, Mr. Namm was responsible for developing, organizing, and planning the Inter-American Law Reviews 2003 Symposium: Forum Non Conveniens: Development and Issues over the Past Seven Years. Articles and comments from the symposium were published in the Inter-American Law Review Symposium Edition, 35 U. Miami Inter-Am. L. Rev. 21 (2003).

After graduating from law school, Mr. Namm attended the University Of Miami Frost School Of Music, where he obtained his master’s degree in Music Business and Entertainment Industries.

Experience

After law school, Mr. Namm established and managed his own law practice, establishing himself as an entrepreneurial business attorney focused on assisting startup, small, and mid-sized businesses avoid future legal problems while leveraging opportunities for growth. Prior to joining the Berman Law Group, Mr. Namm was an attorney at various law firms. From 2003 to 2007, he practiced commercial and civil litigation, insurance defense, real estate law, corporate, business, and intellectual property law within the music business and entertainment industries at the law firm of Michael H. Lax, P.A and the Law Offices of George M. Tavares, Jr. In 2007, Mr. Namm was an associate attorney at Spiegel & Utrera, P.A., engaged in the practice of commercial litigation with emphasis on corporate, business and intellectual property matters.

Later that year, he joined Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (NASDAQ: SBSA) as Senior Legal Counsel where he provided proactive advice, risk assessment, and solutions to senior management regarding (1) new business initiatives & strategic partnerships; (2) acquisitions & distribution; (3) core operations & governance; and (4) entertainment and media transactions.

In 2012, Mr. Namm joined Office Depot, Inc, (NYSE:ODP) as Corporate Counsel where he provided counsel to senior management regarding (1) intellectual property licensing and product development; (2) advertising and marketing review; (3) and all business and commercial transactions.

In 2014, Mr. Namm was entrusted to launch Inspired Review’s South Florida center from the ground up. He was responsible for overseeing up to 100 attorneys and managing multiple projects working with Fortune 500 companies and AM Law 100 law firms on Merger & Acquisitions, Big Pharma Litigation, Sports & Entertainment transactions.

Also in 2014, Mr. Namm re-opened the Law Offices of Jared B. Namm, Esq. where he focused on broad-based transactional, litigation, intellectual property and media related transactions for small, medium and large companies.

In 2019, Mr. Namm joined The Berman Law Group with a focus on Corporate and Business Law. Mr. Namm’s practice focuses on advising and counseling businesses in corporate, commercial, and media-related transactions. He counsels clients on intellectual property matters, licensing deals, entertainment and media related issues, employment matters, corporate formation and governance, strategic planning and overall financial and business growth.
