Nelson Corbera

Mr. Corbera is the Director of Case Management at Berman Law Group. Passionate about helping those in need, particularly those who have been victims of serious injury accidents, he brings an extensive working knowledge to the insurance industry, having spent many years as a direct liaison for those injured in serious accidents. Mr. Corbera has handled millions of insurance company dollars during his insurance career, which began at The Corbera Insurance Agency, a full-service insurance brokerage in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

He later moved to Florida after becoming a licensed insurance adjuster in the state. For more than 15 years, Mr. Corbera held managerial positions with several major insurance companies, working in the trenches and learning the intricacies of insurance laws, policies, and regulations.

More recently, Mr. Corbera was employed as a litigation supervisor for CNA Insurance Company, where his duties included direct handling of significant injury cases, supervision of defense counsel activities throughout the United States, and settlement negotiations at hundreds of mediations.

As a very active and involved member of the local community, especially throughout Hispanic neighborhoods, Mr. Corbera donates his time and energy to helping the less advantaged and underprivileged. He is also an active member of the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, where he is involved in Boca leadership, serving as an Ambassador for the organization. Additionally, he is the founding member of Community Networking Leaders, LLC, a non-profit organization created to bring together active business leaders for networking and philanthropic opportunities.
